Jacki Becker is a member of the Firm’s Border Control and Immigration Management Practice Group, as well as the Organizational Design, Business Process Reengineering, and Change Management Practice Group, with a particular emphasis on strategic communications and stakeholder outreach work.

Ms. Becker joined The Sentinel HS Group in June 2009 after having previously served as a consultant to the USCIS Transformation Program Office, where she focused on matters involving immigration policy, case management, business process reengineering, and reporting.

Before joining the private sector, Ms. Becker worked for several years in the Office of the Secretary at the Department of Homeland Security, where she provided executive level support to the Secretary and Chief of Staff and gained comprehensive knowledge of the DHS mission, strategic goals, and various operations. Ms. Becker most recently served as Special Assistant to the Secretary and was responsible for conducting and managing various assignments; facilitating coordination among DHS Components and external entities; and advising on various issues related to strategic planning, change management, learning and development, information sharing, citizenship and immigration, customs, transportation security, preparedness, and continuity of operations. During that time she also served as Executive Director of the Secretary's Stakeholder Relations Team (SRT), which planned and executed strategic outreach efforts for priority issues, and was responsible for providing oversight and direction to ensure SRT activities were productive in delivering high quality, effective results in support of Secretarial goals.

Ms. Becker graduated with a BA from Tulane University and received The Charles E. Dunbar Fellowship for Political Science. Prior to graduating, she attended the Washington Semester Program at American University, completed internships in the U.S. House of Representatives Office of the Majority Whip and the White House Office of Political Affairs, and was a Presidential Fellow at the Center for the Study of the Presidency.
